De Evertshoeves Arlana (Ysselvliedts Irresistible x De Evertshoeves Amberly) is a chestnut mare with striking white markings. She is an amazing and incredibly beautiful 3 yr old filly that we love deeply.
Arlana was premium awarded as a foal, and is of excellent type with an exquisite head.
She has very strong maternal bloodlines in her pedigree, with the now multichampion and STER De Evertshoeves Angali as a grandmother and her mother De Evertshoeve’s Amberly who also has proven herself successful on shows.
“Arlana” has that little extra energy within that we think will make her a great show prospect, since she also has an excellent type and breeding.
Her father Ysselvliedt’s Irresistible has been a very successful show stallion, and he also has the multichampion Vechtzichts Hywel as a father.
Vechtzicht’s Hywel’s mother Vechtzicht’s Hylight is the full sister to Vecthzicht’s Harmony, who needs little introduction for Welsh mountain pony breeders in Europe.
(Harmony has achieved legendary status by siring four national champion mares: Vechtzicht’s Heulwyn, Vechtzicht’s Honey, Vechtzicht’s Crystal and Vechtzicht’s Helena. Only one other stallion has sired two national section A champions, and that is his full sister’s – Vechtzicht’s Hylight’s – son Vechtzicht’s Hylander, who is half brother to Arlanas grandfather Vechtzicht’s Hywel.)
What we have noticed is that Arlana doesn’t think being in a field is enough, and the few shows we can offer her every year are too few. We also have a limit on the ridden ponies in the stud, since our little girl is just 7 years old herself.
We are therefor searching for THE RIGHT home for her, where she can be activated and trained. She would be an amazing asset for the right stud, both as a future broodmare and for shows, but we are not willing to sell her just as a future broodmare. She would excel in all disciplines as she is very eager to learn and extremely social and friendly, and we know she would do really well in for example liberty.
To the absolute right home, we could include a covering by any of our sec A stallions.
