Both Stellar Princess of Solaria (“Sunny”) and Friars Gwelais Hi (“Gwen”) are not only of exceptional breeding and quality, but they are also incredibly social, kind, and willing. They love interaction and thrive in environments where they receive attention and purpose.
If the right home presents itself, they may also become available for sale at a later stage.

- Color: Chestnut with blaze and four white legs
- Sire: Friars Moses (full brother to twice Royal Welsh Winner Friars Queen of Hearts and Royal Welsh Winner Friars Donatella).
- Dam: Granddaughter of Supreme Royal Welsh Champion Friars Goldilocks, full sister to Friars Tiny Tears, whose daughter Friars Tears of Gold sold for a world record price of £11,000 at Fayre Oaks in 2006.
Gwelais Hi, meaning “I Saw Her”, was named by her breeder Sian, who was there to witness her birth. “Gwen” is a filly of extraordinary type, movement, and temperament, with a presence that embodies the elite quality of the Friars Stud.
She was awarded 39 points at the Welsh Swedish National in Eskilstuna (2021), securing her place in the Swedish Welsh Quality Book—a testament to her exceptional breed type and correctness. Had she been trained more, she would have had even higher points, so unfortunately I am to blame for that.
Gwen is a true Welsh Mountain Pony in every sense—elegant, charismatic, and full of presence.
