THE FAMILY BEHIND STELLAR STUD

Mattias & Eleonor Marklund are the owners of Stellar Stud (together with their companies in UK & US). The family originates from Sweden with one of their bases in Great Britain, but they are also planning on opening up a base in the US in the future.

Eleonor started with horses from when she was a mere toddler at the end of the 70s and since she had her first own horse in the early 80's this has been her dream and passion. For them the horses are a part of their family, and their two children have been involved since before they could walk.

It all started with a small white pony...

When Eleonor was 5 years old, her family bought the white Shetland pony mare Filou van Spriel and her colt foal Goliath. Goliath became Eleonor's own pony, but it was with Filou that she learned how to ride and how to communicate with horses.

Each and every horse is handpicked from all over the world based on their pedigrees and abilities. We always focus on health and a good mentality first and foremost, but after that every horse must be of champion quality with very good gaits.
